Nintendo’s Nintendo Switch home video game console is still in short supply. It is difficult to obtain both new and used products, as the arrival of goods at home electronics mass retailers and second hand stores is undecided.
My Nintendo Store, Joshin, etc. are accepting applications for lottery sales, so we will summarize the application period and notes.
My Nintendo Store (Nintendo)
When applying for Nintendo Switch from My Nintendo Store, add the product to the cart and enter the coupon code “0609”.
The lottery application period is from June 9th to June 12th at 6pm. The lottery results will be sent to the email address registered in advance on the Nintendo account on June 19th. If you win, you can purchase it from June 19th to June 26th.
You do not need to enter the payment method when you apply, but you must pay the main unit price (39,556 yen including tax) if you win. Payment after winning can be done only by credit card or Paypal.
Winning prizes will be shipped by early July.
Kids Republic App (AEON)
Aeon accepts lottery applications such as Nintendo Switch and “Ringfit Adventure” through the “Kids Republic App” child-rearing support app. Applications will be accepted from June 11th to 12th, 7:59pm.
Please note that this lottery sale is limited to Honshu and Shikoku. Hokkaido, Kyushu and Okinawa areas are not covered.
To apply, you need to install the Kids Republic app and register as a member. To provide (plan) point benefits for member registration, you need one of various AEON cards, electronic money WAON cards, WAON POINT cards, and AEON Bank cards.
The lottery application will be conducted twice in total. If you do not win in the first draw, you will be automatically entered in the second draw. However, you can only win once. The lottery results will be announced when the winning coupon is distributed. The winning announcement date and the deadline for purchasing the winning products are as follows.

June 19th…Sequentially after 12:00
June 24th…until the specified store’s closing time

June 26・・・12:00 onwards
July 1st…until the specified store’s closing time

Joshin App
The Joshin app accepts lottery applications for “Nintendo Switch,” “Nintendo Switch Lite,” “Nintendo Switch Atsume Animal Crossing Set,” and “Ringfit Adventure.” The application period is until June 14th.
Please note that you need to install Joshin Card (membership card with no annual fee) and Joshin App when you apply. If you do not have a membership number, log in to the application after obtaining it.
Winners will be announced on June 22 at 15:00 on the Joshin App. Winning prizes can be purchased at pre-registered stores. Please note that it will be automatically canceled after the deadline.
