Qualcomm’s new wireless audio chip supports Bluetooth LE Audio

Posted on

Qualcomm of the United States announced the new audio processor “QCC305x” for wireless earphones.

The feature of QCC305x is that it supports the wireless sound standard “Bluetooth LE Audio”. This allows simultaneous streaming from a single device to multiple earphones, hands-free voice assistant, Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC), aptX Adaptive during calls and cVc Echo Cancellation / Noise Suppression.

In addition, Bluetooth LE Audio is characterized by low power consumption as if it sings “Low-Energy”. In addition, the new codec “LC3” is also available.

According to Qualcomm, the QCC305x is expected to be installed in earphones and headphones for mid-tier (mid-price range). Audio processors are not often talked about in actual earphones, but it seems that ANC-compatible wireless earphones in the price range that is easy to purchase will increase in the future.
